I found the first reading to be really interesting. Esme is a new teacher who just got hired at a new school. Some of the things she does I do not completely agree with, but I do think she is a great teacher. Unlike many of the new teachers she takes a lot of time out of her day for the school and her classroom. She starts a bunch of clubs and organizations while all the other teachers just do their job and go home. Though Esme is a good teacher there are some good and bad qualities and some things that I might do differently and similarly.
